We are very pleased to announce that we have just launched Daft.pl in Poland! The site is going live with about 60,000 properties across every major city and town in Poland. Approximately ten times larger than the Irish market, Poland has a population of 38 million. We are hoping to benefit from the positive brand recognition of Daft.ie amongst the hundreds of thousands of Polish people who came to work and live in Ireland over the past 10 years.
The website has been fully localised into Polish and should look very familiar to Daft.ie users
. In conjunction with our partner in Poland, Szybko.pl, we have over 60,000 properties available for sale and rent right now - and are adding to that by about 10,000 new properties per day.
We hope that all of the Polish people who have had positive experiences using Daft over the last few years will help us spread the word back home. As always we would love to hear what you think of the site so get in touch with any feedback!

Great job out there ppl
daft is something we certainly need!
Good morning Judyta,
While I am not Polish myself I have lived with a number of people from Poland over the last number of years.
Their experience of the website has always been positive, finding the site easy to use and more importantly effective at identifying the potential apartments and houses that would be convienent and suitable for their requirements. They always speak of it as one of the simplier aspects of coming to Ireland. With the power of word of mouth many of them had secured their first accomodation in Ireland before even arriving in the country. This obviously makes settling in to a new town, city or country much less daunting and takes out the factor of the unknown.
I hope this is useful to you. All the very best of success with the new venture in Poland - I have no doubt that the website will be become as popular there as it is here. It's definately a good country for expansion with the number of people who are already farmiliar with it that have recently returned home.
Warm regards,
Linda
Congratulations to all of you, I am sure it will be a huge success
hi Judyta,
Can you tell me what a 'Zi' is? [unit of currency, compared with Australian dollar, or euro.]
Congratulations to you all. Im sure your new venture will be just as successful as your property site in Ireland is. You offer an excellent service to all your subscribers in Ireland and im sure the Auctioneers/Estate Agents in Poland will all support you. Best wishes hope it developes strongly and quickly.
Thanks for the positive feedback !
Ginny, 'zł' = The Złoty (pronounced [ˈzwɔtɨ], sign: zł; code: PLN. It's literally meaning is "golden", it is the currency of Poland.
Good luck with that

Well done on this initiative. Great to see Irish entrepreneurs getting on with trading their way out of recession and re-inventing themselves.
Best of Luck

hmm nice to see daft in poland .. but servers would be faster .. coz for pictures have to wait ages ;/ but anyway good to have another website with properties.
Best wishes with this - I second John Crawley's comment. I’m sure the Daft team know more than me re further potential markets, but for what it’s worth I do remember a colleague of mine who spent a while in The Netherlands recently lamenting the lack of a Daft-like facility there; of course there would be less of a “people connection” to get that going than for Poland, but just a thought.
I haven't seen this coming
All the best with your new venture and will definitely follow how it goes.
Damian
Good luck it's a brilliant idea my sister currently lives in poland so this will be quite handy for her.
Fantastic news.Good luck with it. I used your website last year and
was very happy with it. I hope to use it later on this year.
Best wishes
Tina
That's great news. I'm looking forward to use daft.pl!

@Dk We had a slight issue with image speed on the day of launch.. we have since found the issue and pushed out a fix for it.
All of my Polish friends have returned to Poland so this is super news for my upcoming visit. Does anyone know a good Polish visitors website?
See my profile for a good Dublin Visitor's Website.
Brian.
What's up, slightly off topic but is anyone able to tell me if they are receiving a 500 error when they first come to this sites default page?
best wishes
